Radiobiology: This is the study of effects of radiations on living organisms. Radiobiology is a branch of science which concerned with the action of ions. Radiobiology is the radiation on living organisms or biological tissues. Radiobiology is the combination of two disciplines that is radiation physics & biology. All living organisms are made up of protoplasm that consists of organic or inorganic compounds, which dissolved or suspended in water. The cell is the smallest unit of protoplasm capable of independent existence. Cells contain organic compounds like carbohydrates, proteins, lipids or nucleic acids as well as inorganic compounds like water or minerals.
There are two main components of a cell one is the cytoplasm, that supports all metabolic functions within the cell or second is the nucleus, that contains the genetic information (DNA). The cells which are found in human are either somatic cells or germ cells. Cells increase their numbers through division: division of somatic cells is known as mitosis, while division of germ cells is termed as meiosis.
