question1two acrobats each of 600 kg launch

Question1

Two acrobats, each of 60.0 kg, launch themselves together from a swing holdings hands. Their velocity at launch was 8.00 m/s and an angle of their initial velocity relative to the horizontal was 46.0 degrees upwards. At top of their trajectory, their act calls for them to push against each in such a way that one of them becomes fixed in mid-air and then falls to the safety net while the other speeds away, to reach another swing at the same height at that of the swing they left. What must be the distance (in m) between the two swings?

Question2

Sam, who's mass is 61.0kg, takes off down a 55.0m high, 10.0 degree slope on his jet-powered skis. The skis have a thrust of 190N. Sam's speed at bottom is 44.0m/s.

What is coefficient of kinetic friction of his skis on snow?
