You will be working with a range of personnel from the Managing Director to apprentices.
Question: Describe how you will adjust your interpersonal communication styles when communicating with each group of personnel to meet the different individual needs of the staff.
Note: Ensure you cover areas such as understanding of your own communication style and a willingness to be aware of misunderstandings but you also need to go further and consider areas such as:
- Showing empathy
- Asking questions to ensure your understanding is correct
- Being aware of the importance of nonverbal communication
