Question 1nbsp employees resist change for many reasons

Question 1:  Employees resist change for many reasons. Change is not easy for all employees and individuals. People resist change for many reasons including the following:

Fear of the unknown, unsure why the change is being made, unsure how they will learn the new tasks, unsure how it will affect their job and stability, etc.

The leaders must communicate the change and answer all of these questions. They must provide support and guidance. Lewin suggest that change should be made over time but this is not this case in all situations. At times change must be made suddenly.

After some research, share your findings on issues related to change

Question 2:  Empowerment has many benefits. We can greatly improve productivity simply by allowing the employees to make decisions. When customers need to be forwarded again and again to a decision maker it not only hurts customer service levels but the productivity. With empowerment issues can be resolved quicker so that we can move on to the next customer.
