Question-
Where do the needs of sport organisations and media organisations most 'converge and diverge'?
The key thing here is not to provide a commentary piece about the positives and negatives of a sporting organisation being involved with the media. Sometimes your friend and sometimes your foe (the media orgs). That said, you should talk about that some sections of the media - for example news coverage - is not obligated to support the sports organisation. They may do so to ensure they keep getting stories but they may choose to do stories that sell papers / attract TV ratings etc. that are not aligned with the sports organisation.
With convergence, you are looking for areas where it's a win win. They media outlet gets what they want (for example good content) and the sports organisation gets what it wants (say money or exposure).
