Problem: Suggestions on a quantitative research model on telecare at nursing homes using the well assist app with the following definition: "Telecare" refers to around the clock care for an elderly adult, provided remotely using software pre-installed on a tablet in their home. Telecare can complement the care provided by in-home caregivers (who may be in the home for only a few hours per day)and allow an aging adult to live independently in their own home. Telecare holistically focuses on the daily condition of the aging adult and connects them 24/7 to their healthcare providers and loved ones. Telecare starts with creating a customized "plan of care", designed by the aging adult, their family and their doctors all working together. This plan might include medication and exercise schedule, visits from home nurses, diet and nutrition plans, and social engagement and appointments. The family and medical providers can come together to agree on the best plan for their elderly loved one. Once installed, the telecare system uses smart watches or medical devices to continually collect data from the user, such as blood-pressure, temperature, heart rate, weight, sleep, and physical movement.
