Communication of punishment: after a decision is taken regarding punishment, it should be communicated, to the concerned work man as expeditiously as possible. The letter communicating the punishment should contain:
1. Reference to the letter of charge issued to the employee
2. Reference to the enquiry
3. Reference to the finding of the enquiry
4. Decisions whether to punish or not, and
5. Date from which the punishment is to be effective.
