Q. Purpose of Customer Review in project management?
The Customer in conjunction with the Project Manager/ Engineer decides the timing of the IFA review.
This review is conducted prior to issuing the P&IDs for Design (IFD).
The purpose of the review is to resolve any differences or conflicts between the Customer and Colt prior to issuing the P&IDs for IFC.
The review meeting requires the following attendance, as a minimum:
- Customer Representative(s)
- Lead Process Engineer
- Lead Mechanical Engineer
- Lead Instrument Engineer
- Lead Electrical Engineer (as required)
- Controls Engineer (as required)
- Project Engineer/ Manager.
