Q. Describe about states of matter?
Under usual conditions matter exists in three different physical forms called the states of matter-solid or liquid or gas. Solid matter has a specific shape and a definite volume. A solid is inflexible and incompressible so it keeps a certain shape and cannot be squeezed into a smaller volume. A solid has these properties for the reason that the particles that make up the solid are packed closely together and are held in a specific arrangement.
