Project Assignment
Now that you are familiar with three of the main approaches to qualitative analysis (Phenomenological, Case Study, and Grounded Theory) select one that would be best suited for your identified phenomena and sought main question of inquiry. Add to the final project paper (edited M2 Assignment 2: Phenomenon Introduction) the following:
1. First write any/all additional edits and additions to your Assignment: Phenomenon Introduction (you will be building on this paper for this assignment).
2. Following this brief literature review, significance of this phenomena, leading to the sub-phenomena of your overall phenomena, provide the overall research question to be explored.
3. Discuss the qualitative approach best suited to answer this question (Phenomenological, Case Study, or Grounded Theory), with supported justification (include citations - your textbook)
4. Provide at least three sub-areas pertaining to your phenomena of inquiry (only for phenomenological designs).
5. Then outline the details of the basic methodology using bullet points (this final part will be further expanded/written-out in your final paper):
1. Proposed population
2. Projected demographics of inclusion.
3. Data collection method and types of data needed (dependent on specific qualitative methodology)
6. Lastly, write-out your personal connections, biases, assumptions, and/or interest in this topic. This will be the "Bracketing" part of your paper.
This paper should have then the following content:
1. Introduction of your Phenomena (Use your Paper's Title for this heading, non-bold)
1. Reinstatement of the phenomenon and its significance
2. Include a brief literature review/background section.
3. The above leads to the over-riding research question and sub-areas of exploration (if a phenomenological study).
4. The best qualitative method to research the over-riding question and sub-areas (include a rationale).

1. Proposed Population (sample)
1. Identify homogeneous group for the study
2. How plan to solicit participants
3. Number participants and/or entities (Case Study) sought
2. Data collection
1. Types of data to be accrued, congruent with your qualitative approach
2. How plan to get data - procedures
3. Bracketing (write-out fully)
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also Include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
