Assignment: Organizational intervention to decrease employee turnover
You will be presented with a case study about a company which is having issues with high organizational turnover. You will need to recommend interventions to help the company overcome this issue.
Case study
You are an organizational psychology consultant. You were recently approached by your client, James Tan, the CEO of SingTel. He is concerned about the increase in voluntary employee turnover (i.e. the number of employees who have been quitting their jobs) occurring within the sales department of SingTel. Your client has informed you that the organization recently conducted its annual companywide survey measuring a range of employee attitudes. Results showed, among other things, that employees described themselves as feeling unmotivated, had lower perceptions of organizational justice and scored higher on intentions to quit, compared to previous year's surveys. James wants to put in place an intervention which will help retain more of their sales staff and has thus asked you to design a proposal for an intervention which will reduce the rate of voluntary employee turnover at SingTel.

The aim of this assignment is to:
Provide information that will help your client understand and improve their organizational turnover rate
Provide suggestions for interventions which are based on evidence
Provide a review of the literature, which provides a rationale/justification for your intervention
It is expected that your report will include (in this order):
1. A professional cover page detailing the name of your consulting company and your contact details.
2. A brief statement summarizing the organization's main problems and why it is important to resolve them in a timely manner.
3. A literature review which discusses the main relevant theories and concepts
4. A strong rationale for your proposed recommendations
5. A detailed proposal for what you recommend the organization do about their problems, how you plan to carry out these recommendations and what you expect to occur as a result of your recommendations;
6. A reference section with references provided in APA format.
