Students are required to research a career(s) of interest and locate and document the following information:
1. Job titles within your field(s) of interest.
2. Educational/training requirements of your field(s) of interest.
3. Job outlook within your field(s) of interest.
4. Salary trends within your field(s) of interest.
5. Skills needed for your field(s) of interest.
6. Geographic trends for your field(s) of interest- where are the jobs growing? Do you need to move to a city to pursue that field?
7. Things you need to do as a student to prepare for your field(s) of interest.
Upon completing the research, students will:
1. Provide a detailed summary regarding how you completed the research. For example, what websites did you use? Did you have to search multiple sites? Were specific sites more reliable and helpful then others? Did you need to utilize multiple resources to locate the specific information?
2. Provide a one-page detailed reflection about what you learned from the research. You should provide the information listed above and a reflection regarding how you "feel" about each of the items that you found.
3. State how the research will help with personal and professional development.
Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:
1. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
