Problem
The purpose of this mini-assignment is for each of us to place ourselves, and our families, in the historical context of large-scale processes -- including colonization, labour market shifts, and forms of / limits to migration including forced migration in the case of slavery or limits to migration in the case of process that have forbidden certain kinds of movement.
Provide an overall reflection of this information in terms of what it means about justice and/or your own position in relation to historical patterns. What does this make you think about? How does this shape how you think about (in)justice?
