Identify and describe a present-day issue or problem anywhere in the United States criminal justice system and the measures (either proposed or underway), to address it. Here are some examples, however, you may choose another issue: diversity in the ranks of police; emerging external police oversight types; police cooperation with ICE for immigration law enforcement; continuing problems with probation and parole; pros and cons of juvenile adjudication in adult courts; deficit of funding and resources in public defender offices.
