A position statement which is a simple sentence identifying the central issue/s you perceive to be the focus of the case. NOTE: Each student may perceive there to be a different issue for each case. It depends on your point of reference based on your individualized experience base. The analysis should then present a diagnosis of the situation.
• Proof of the diagnosis composed of the student’s perception of the cause of the situation. The section should include an in-depth analysis of the situations or problems presented in the case which supports the position statement.
• An action plan for addressing the situation. The action plan should include the goal/s of any solutions, both short term and long term action steps to achieve the goal/s, and major risks which could be encountered in the pursuit of the goal/s and the responses to deal with any perceived risk.
• A summary of the case study analysis. Professional presentation of your work is expected and is to comply with APA guidelines.
