Different growth patterns caused by varying cultural values or war events or both help shape the pyramid. In Homework Assignment 1, draw population pyramids for Indonesia, Ethiopia, and the United Kingdom. Then write a 1 page essay comparing and contrasting the three pyramids and interpret the causes of the varying shapes of these graphs. Consider historical events, the present population structure, and the influence (if any) of the past and the present on future population growth. Which country will have the greatest population increase, and why? What problems might these countries be facing, and why?
