PROJECT AIMS/OBJECTIVES:
Transitioning the traditional big warehouses online to reach international level. Esell sells variety of products from all types and sizes, however the physical warehouse it limits their Esell to their local market. Due to the extremely high interest Esell wants to create online shop.
Furthermore, Esell is looking into providing more affordable prices for their customers due to significantly decreased online store maintenance costs. Additionally the money spent for rent can be accumulated into cheaper products.
Recent marker research showed that customers increasingly use their smartphones for online shopping
Besides the web-based online eCommerce store, Esell would like to develop mobile application in near future to target the mobile shoppers.
The online shop (server farm) must is optimized for high loads (average 10.000 users) and provide comprehensive international response.
The current Esell equipment is not applicable to the direction the company is heading at, therefore major hardware upgrade is planned and skillful employees will be hired whilst reducing the old personnel.
