Problem: Can you reply to Only identifying two of the nine critical problem-solving skills that are most important for my career was challenging as they are all important. As (Northouse,2021) states, employment of one skill will lead to the development of the next. The two skills I decided to go with were problem definition and creative thinking. I think these two are most important in my career because, in my current role as a leader, I feel it is important to be aware and understand the problems in the organization, which, as (Northouse, 2021) talks about, will set the foundation for other problem-solving skills such as cause/goal analysis. As a leader, it is essential to recognize and solve problems early on. The second skill, creative thinking, is important because it expands your options to solve the problem. If it is incorporated into your leadership style, and you allow your team to do the same, it will boost morale and productivity.
