Problem related to servant leadership

Assignment task: Need a reply

I responded to Taylor and I feel like my response would have been appropriate here as well. I have spent time in Korea and had the privilege of being immersed into that culture and learning the ins and outs of how things work. Fast forward and I meet my wife (due to a totally un-related scenario) who has a Korean mother. Given my past experience I was able to successfully able to navigate the courting process successfully (meaning I answered all the questions correctly and was able to not get offended by all the yelling lol). The Korean culture has a totally different way of handling "who's the Boss". From what I have seen, they believe that whomever is oldest has seniority over whomever is younger. They also believe in ruling with a iron fist meaning that you will do what I say, and there will be no deviation from that. In the case of my wife's mother, she cares and wants success for her daughter but there will be no empathy. I can see where servant leadership would be something difficult in that society.
