Problem related to rent-subsidized units

Assignment task:

The Texas Association of Lutheran Churches owns an apartment complex in a college town and is a member of TAA. The TALC subsidizes the rents for apartments to college students (married or single) who are members of a Lutheran Church in Texas. Lucy Roberts, a devout Lutheran and member of the East Texas Town Lutheran Church, is married to a Muslim who is out-spoken Al-Queda sympathizer.  She learned of the rental opportunity through her church bulletin.  Upon application for a rental of one of the rent-subsidized units, the TALC rejects her application in writing, citing no reason for the rejection? Upon inquiry, the TALC representative refuses to disclose the reasons for the rejection, but was told that she should have use her maiden name instead of the name Roberts-Mohammadi.  What recourse under the law, if any, does Lucy have? Discuss fully.
