You are a member of a healthcare team who is conducting a free healthcare clinic. An individual enters the facility, because they are in pain, and requests some pain medication. After completing a thorough assessment you discover that this individual is homeless and struggles with substance abuse. Taking into consideration that this individual is experiencing multiple vulnerabilities and utilizing the knowledge you have gained in this course please respond. This answer is not to discuss medical treatment parameters but rather address the vulnerabilities this individual is facing and how you can assist in an immediate sense.
Undergraduate students-discuss with some detail at least three considerations you must take into account when treating this patient.
