Case Scenario: Fracture
MR, a 66-yr- old client who has a history of osteoporosis, sustained a (#) Fracture of the right femur when he fell from a ladder while he was doing some home repairs. He was admitted to the surgical unit after having open reduction and internal fixation of the fracture. Vital Signs: Temp 35.6, HR 66, RR 18, BP112/70, O2 Sat 96 %. On examination, distal surgical site presents with faint pedal pulse, cool to touch and the client reports "excruciating pain"
