Assignment task: The reading I chose was Tuolumne by Deborah A. Miranda.
The topic of this reading is "Father-child relationship imprisonment."
Daughter of Al and the granddaughter of Tom. She wrote the narrative for everyone to know about her relationship with her father and the relationship between her father and his father Tom about the Tuolumne River. Her father first took her to the river when she was born and again when he got of being in prison for eight years. When he got out, he was heading to Tom who is his father. He had nothing while he was trailing to go to his father's house. As it seems her father died his ashes were poured into the Indian river. A relationship with the natural can help a person heal and move forward. Even if it's going back to where you poured your family members' ashes. Taking deep breaths or meditating outdoors anywhere can help you free your mind and heal. Going back to a place with meaning will help you heal from heartbreak, or even missing your loved one.
