Problem: This assignment will require you to read and assess the first ten amendments to the U. S. Constitution, commonly called the Bill of Rights. You will find the Constitution and amendments in the Appendix of your textbook. You can also go to archives (website) and read them there. You will also need to view the video: The United States Bill of Rights. You can find this video by clicking on Library, then clicking on the Database List box, then clicking on the letter F. This will bring you Films on The Humanities. Click on the Menu Icon in the left-hand corner, click on view All, scroll down to HISTORY, and click on that. Then type in The United States Bill of Rights. Once you have accessed the document you will then make a bill of rights of your own. You can include the original ones, you can delete ones that you think might not be applicable today, and, more importantly, you can add new amendments that you consider important to have in a 21st-century Bill of Rights. Whether keeping them all, deleting, or adding to them, you MUST explain WHY you have taken the action that you take.
