Problem: The patient is a 72-year-old-male. He has fallen and hit his head and now has an open wound to his forehead just above his left eyebrow that extends midline frontal bone to approximately the coronal suture on his scalp. You have evaluated his wounds. They are clean cuts, and appropriate for suturing and/or stapling. He does not have any contraindications. He is concerned that he will have a big scar and asks you to try to minimize this if possible. You are to document this procedure: Indications Contraindications Type of Anesthetic Type of Suture and/or staple Document appropriate way to inject the anesthetic, type and dose of anesthetic. Type of suture/staple. Wound care instructions Follow-up for wound check; suture and staple removal. Any other information you feel is pertinent for evaluation, procedure, documentation, education and follow-up. Need Assignment Help?
