Problem regarding concept of the school-to-prison pipeline

Problem:

The theory and conceptual framework that can support and frame your study is the Critical Race Theory (CRT) and the concept of the school-to-prison pipeline. Critical Race Theory, developed by legal scholars such as Derrick Bell and Kimberlé Crenshaw, provides a lens to examine how systemic racism is embedded in various institutions, including education. In-text citation: "Previous and current policies have created practices within public school systems that have for many years pushed black, indigenous, students of color, and special needs into the juvenile and adult criminal systems (Bell, 1980; Crenshaw, 1989). The policies already created add supporting evidence as to why supporting black, indigenous, students of color, and special needs will help ensure possible breakage of the school-to-prison pipeline." Supporting Literature: Bell, D. A. (1980). Brown v. Board of Education and the interest-convergence dilemma. Harvard Law Review, 93(3), 518-533. Crenshaw, K. (1989). Demarginalizing the intersection of race and sex: A black feminist critique of antidiscrimination doctrine, feminist theory and antiracist politics. University of Chicago Legal Forum, 139-167.
