Assignment task:
After reading through the power-point presentation, doing some research on-line and completing your GMF project, please take some time to post your thoughts on the use of GMFs. Feel free to post pros OR cons regarding this procedure -- it would be great to get a good debate going. And please comment on patenting, suicide seeds and corporate responsibility. Also, what do you think about the labeling guidelines (or lack thereof...?) California and Washington tried passing legislation to require GMF labeling, but the big corporations (mostly Monsanto,) paid millions of dollars to shoot them down. Other states have been in similar situations..
