Assignment Task: Informative Speech: Outline and presentation
Now that you have selected a topic and thesis statement for your informative speech, it is time to outline your speech.
Select one of the outline formats listed in Chapter 12 of Stand Up, Speak Out, and create your outline in the selected outline format. Include the following in your outline:
- An attention-getter/introduction
- Preview of main points
- Discussion of your main points
- Review of main points/conclusion
- At the end of the outline, include the reference list of two to three sources in proper APA format.
