Assignment task: Health Issues and Pedagogical Reflection
Critical Reflection on an issue related to Health and Physical Education which deals specifically with examining an issue in Health and Physical Education, and it's relevance in local, national and global contexts. Present an augmentative reflection to persuade readers of the importance of teaching your selected topic in Health and Physical Educatio by Discussing in a range of contexts (local, national and global) and make connections to the Australian Curriculum, teaching strategies, educational theory HPE initiatives, and competing perspectives in relation to the issue. They must critically analyse research in relation to the issue, and the impact that the issue has on the health and wellbeing of students in schools and implications for teachers. These implications must be evident in the planning of the unit and lesson plans.
