Re-Engagement of Employment
With reference to your letter dated November 20, 2022, from the Human Resources Department of Bahamas Technical & Vocational Institute with regards to my retirement, which will be September 3, 2023. I am requesting my re-engagement as an Instructor in the Fashion Trades Department as per the B.T.V.I retirement policy recommendation of June 2016. My employment started with the Institution in October 1986. I have made contributions to the department for the past thirty-six years, and my students have students who run the tailors at the prison and defense force base also in my department there are two former students who are currently employed as Instructors.
I would like to continue my employment to help in grooming and training the next generation of Fashion Instructors. I look forward to working with my colleagues to grow our department and taking it to levels that we have not gone to as yet but dream too.
