Problem: Read "God's Grandeur" by Gerard Manley Hopkins or "Eagle Poem" by Joy Harjo. Write prose paragraph paraphrasing the poem. (Do not write the paraphrase as a poem.) Write the paraphrase using your own words and your own sentence structures. Begin the paraphrase with the author's full name and title of the poem. The paragraph should include about the same number of words as the poem, or a few more. When you've decided which poem to paraphrase, read the biographical information and the study questions for your chosen poem.
