Assignment Task: Grant Details
Request for Proposals (RFP): The Environmental Solutions Foundation is putting out a call for applications for a grant award of $40,000. They will consider any proposal from an organization that is concerned with bettering an environmental crisis. Note that your organization does not partner with a foundation. Rather, your org will independently develop and implement the program for the duration of the one-year grant period. Grant monies cannot be spent on overhead/administrative costs including but not limited to salaries, office space rent/mortgage, utilities/Internet, or general office supplies. Monies also cannot be used to provide prizes, cash giveaways, or monetary incentives larger than $25 per person (written consent for exceptions can be provided). Monies also cannot be used to promote or be involved in any way with the selling or trading or any goods or services. Projects to be considered for funding will have a beginning and end date within the grant funding period of one year. They will provide significant impact for the defined problem that is measurable and discrete (meaning within a closed period of time). Projects that do not need the full $40,000 to be complete will not be considered. Projects that surpass $40,000 will not be considered.
