Problem: This assignment replaces the original assignment 2 which is no longer practical given the cancellation of face to face teaching in response to Covid 19. It requires you undertake significant additional research into a project of your choice and to analyze this project explicitly using theory from the module.
Tasks - Analyze a project of your choice determining whether it was a success, and the lessons for other projects. The analysis involves:
1. Identify a suitable case study project. Ensure that you can obtain a good range of material, from reliable sources. Confirm your choice with your tutor via your College email ID account only.
2 Research into your project. It is important that you use a diverse range of reliable sources to ensure that you can develop an objective analysis.
3. Summarize the projects objectives, key events and outcomes.
4. Analyze the project comparing its experience with "theory'. e.g.
a. Project success criteria, factors and sublimes
b. Project risk
c. Stakeholder analysis and benefits realization
d. Managing Performance leadership and project HRM
5. Analyze the project comparing its experience with other similar projects.
6. Identify lessons for future projects.
7. Write up your analysis as a report (word limit= 3000, diagrams and section headings are useful).
