Question: We began the poetry unit this week. Poetry should speak to each of us on a personal level. That being said chooses a poem from this week's readings that speaks to you on some personal level. I don't mean for this to be a confessional!
What I want you to do is explain why this poem stands out to you? Why does it speak to you in a way that the others do not? Is it the imagery, the language, the subject, or the theme? If not on a personal level, does it speak to you because you find it relevant today? How? Why?
