Problem based on phlebotomist in a rural health clinic

Assignment task:

Bill is a certified nursing assistant who has also been trained to be a phlebotomist in a rural health clinic. His supervisor has asked him to start home health care visits so that he can take history and physical assessments and perform any needed blood collection procedures. On his first assignment, he is sent to three patient homes that are approximately 40 miles from the clinic to collect fasting blood samples for glucose testing needed to regulate their insulin injections. When he arrives at the first home, he gathers all of his blood collection equipment and enters the home for collection. As soon as he opens the blood collection container he realizes that he does not have gloves for the blood collection. Because of time constraints he collects the blood from the patients in their homes. He figures that if he washes his hand after collecting the blood from each patient, he will be okay. But upon the last patient's collection, he realizes that he has an open abrasion on his ring finger. 1. What should Bill do immediately? 2. What should Bill do when he goes back to the clinic?
