SCENARIO
Pablo is the top drug dealer in Huntville. He has numerous loyal street dealers working for him on the streets especially on 42nd. Huntville Police Department have been working tiredly to apprehend Pablo and stop his drug operations. It is believed that Pablo hides most of his drugs in one of his 3 homes and the police are not sure which house has the drugs. A few months ago, the Huntville police raided 42nd street, arrested a few of the street dealers and collected little dime bags worth $500. Recently, the Police Department have been undergoing investigation within the department because some of the dime bags have gone missing from the evidence room and none of the street dealers who were arrested were cooperating.
Officer Lenard, a Sgt working in Drug Crime Unit is now one of Pablo street dealers for 3 weeks now under the street name ‘3L'. He has been working with the Unit for 7 years. He has been relaying important information back to the Unit on Pablo's whereabouts and the potential house where he stashes the drugs. Based on the information from Sgt Lenard, the Unit has put together an operation plan in order to move in on Pablo and retrieve the drugs. Pablo's drug operation hascaused many murders and overdose in the Huntville community.
The Unit has just received a message from Officer Lenard that he overheard another one of Pablo's street dealer ‘Lil P' say that the house to which all the drugs are locate is the Yellow 2 story building located on Palms Ave. Inside the house there are Guns, Marijuana and Cocaine valuing over 1 million and they are all guarded by armed men.
Objective: There are three (3) different case scenarios, each student will receive one. The scenarios are based on Investigative Techniques. Each student will structure a Word Document essay style paper and answer the following IN YOUR OWN WORDS.
