Problem based on attempting to stop a murder

Problem: Assume that someone attempts to stop a murder, but in the process, deflects the gun and two innocent people are accidentally shot and killed. What would Kant say? The act is now unethical because there were two deaths where there would only have been one The person who attempted to stop the murder is still good, because they intended to do good There can be no moral judgement on this particular action Moral judgments are arbitrary in specific situations
