Problem: Transfusion-related acute lung injury (TRALI) is a potentially life threatening transfusion reaction. Signs and symptoms of TRALI may include: Flushing, wheezing, hypotension and generalised urticarial rash Fever/chills, hypotension, dyspnoea, reduced oxygen saturation and 'whiteout' on chest X-ray Disseminated intravascular coagulation, bleeding, flank and IV site pain and hypertension Hypertension, nausea and vomiting, tachycardia and dyspnoea
