Question: Cleno ltd., a soap manufacturer, decided to use both distributors as well as wholesalers for its general trade distribution channel. i.e. they sold products directly to both distributors as well as wholesalers. After a quarter of operations, it was observed that the distributors were not being able to meet their sales targets, whereas the wholesalers were doing really well.
