Ted Talks Rhetorical Analysis Criteria
You are expected to use this criteria when evaluating the in-class Ted Talks assignments. Each analysis will be worth up to 10 points based on your observations of what you see and hear and the critical thought process demonstrated in your analysis. The first set will be due near midterm and last set will be due at the end of the semester-see course outline for due dates.
1. What kind of presentation was it?
2. What was the central idea of this presentation?
3. What sources did the speaker orally cite if any?
4. How would you evaluate the speaker's vocal variety?
5. How would you evaluate the speaker's physical delivery?
6. Did the speaker use any visual aids? If so, how would you evaluate the speaker's management of the visual aids?
7. Did like or not like this presentation? Be specific with at least two examples.
8. What two things did you learn by watching this presentation that you did not already know?
