Present your CPD plan to a seminar group. Discuss and reflect on your CPD experiences and future planning. Clearly identify the feedback provided by your Critical Friend and any modification made to the CPD plan.
This is a short presentation.
You must present your CPD plan to a small seminar group. The plan should broadly cover the next twelve months and include the CPD you have already achieved on the course.
There are four Learning Outcomes. Each outcome must be addressed, do not leave any out.
Some suggestions on how the Learning Outcomes can be addressed.
1. Critically evaluate your engagement with CPD activities whilst on the course, including your placement.
Review your CPD activities whilst on the course, what did you do and what was the impact. What did you actually learn as a result?
2. Critically evaluate your CPD plan for the coming year which includes your progression towards QTLS.
Produce a CPD plan; what are your priorities, why are they important to you. Say what you are going to do in the next year or so and why.
3. Create an effective research tool for eliciting feedback from peers.
Get feedback from your Critical Friend. What did they think about your priorities and the CPD plan? What positive suggestions and comments did they make?
4. Demonstrate an ability to respond positively to feedback gained from peers.
How did you respond to the feedback from your Critical Friend, what changes or modifications did you make to your CPD plan and why.
