The presence of carbohydrate-deficient transferritin (CBT) in the blood is a marker for alcohol abuse. A study was performed to determine the ability of a laboratory technique to evaluate carbohydrate-deficient transferritin from liquid serum (LS) and dried blood stains (DBS). The dried blood stains would be less expensive to ship and store, but it isn't known if they can be analyzed accurately with this technique. The data below are random and normally-distributed specimens in standard densitometry units. Show all work.
