Student Information Workplace Assessment Overview The goal of this assessment is to assess your practical knowledge and skills in: • Preparing for and conduct site set-out. • Developing a contour grid. • Determining grades and levels. This workplace assessment is made up of six workplace tasks: • Task 1 - Prepare to Conduct Site Set-out • Task 2 - Conduct Site Set-Out • Task 3 - Prepare the Grid Drawing • Task 4 - Create the Topographic Contour Plan • Task 5 - Determine Cut and Fill Volumes • Task 6 - Determine Grade and Levels Each task comes with a set of instructions. You are to follow and perform these instructions while being observed by the assessor and submit any required documentation. Before starting this assessment, your assessor will also discuss with you these tasks as well as instructions and guidance for satisfactorily completing them. They will also organize the resources required for this assessment (listed below).
