Question: How would you respond to this post? This course is going to help me prepare for the nursing program in many different ways. Microbiology is crucial within identifying and preventing infections, the care of wounds, as well as assessing them. By having a foundation of viruses, fungi, bacteria, and other pathogens, you can determine what the best form of care is and be able to identify cells and their properties on a microbial level. An inspirational quote that has inspired and motivated me to choose this program is by Theodore Roosevelt; Do what you can, where you are, with what you have. This quote inspires me academically and in building my career because I want to be able to do the best I can, with the resources I have been given, at this point in my life in order to be able to work towards achieving all of my other goals in life and to give back to the community and make a difference within someone's life.
