When the study session was over, all the students quickly left the room, except Sandra. Sandra collected her things and noticed a laptop remained on the table. She put it in her backpack and went to the coffee shop next door. Sandra bought a cup of coffee and left the laptop with the cashier, thinking her classmate Tom would look for his laptop in the study hall and then the coffee shop. When true owner Tom discovered that Sandra was the last to leave the study session and that his laptop was not there, he asked Sandra about it. Upon learning it was left at the coffee shop, Tom asked the coffee shop manager if a laptop had been left at the shop. The manager asked all employees about a laptop, but he told Tom that neither he nor the employees had seen a laptop at the cash register or behind the counter. If Tom were to sue Sandra, what would be his claim?
