Assignment
Handout:
Search for an article or two from a professional or associational journal or magazine that addresses how to prepare for and conduct a face-to-face job interview. Understand that there are many approaches and not one way to either prepare or interview. Your goal is to provide useful, practical, and helpful "best practices" for a professional who might not have interviewed a job applicant before. Your material should include types of and/or suggested questions that might best help an interviewer assess and evaluate an applicant (knowledge, experience, analytical/thought process, "fit," etc.).
If one source is selected, prepare a one or two pages handout that summarizes what the author of the article presents that would help your classmates consider approaches to preparing for and conducting a job interview. If two sources are selected, do the same thing but select and incorporate material from both.
Class:
Prepare copies of your handout to distribute to your classmates in class. You will also turn in a copy of your handout, along with a copy of your source(s)/article(s). Make sure you include an appropriate citation that credits the material included in your handout.
