Assignment task:
1. Prepare articles of incorporation for a corporation. Check the filing fees online. The corporation's set of articles should provide for preemptive rights or cumulative voting. Select a registered agent for the corporation. Prepare a form that provides the agent accepts his or her appointment.
2. Select a jurisdiction in which to incorporate a company and select a corporate name. Determine if the name is available. Research neighboring jurisdictions (at least three states) to determine if the name is available in those jurisdictions. Prepare a name registration form for each state.
3. Locate the IRS application for S corporation status, the IRS EID number application. Complete and submit both forms.
4. Each part should have a cover memorandum describing the nature of the attachment.
