Assignment Task
In report format, prepare an outline Marketing Audit and set Marketing Objectives for a service offering* of your choice. You must justify each stage of your report with reference to relevant academic concepts.
On this occasion the report should include the following sections:
- Title and contents page;
- Brief introduction
- Key assumptions regarding the internal environment (strengths and weaknesses; .);
- Examination of the external environment
- Results of analysis (presented in a SWOT box - top three Ss, Ws, Os and Ts ranked);
- Marketing objectives
- Brief conclusion
*The choice of service must be agreed with your lecturer. Airlines, fast-food outlets (e.g. McDonalds), supermarkets and phones/tablets are not allowed. Choose something very specific which will be a realistic proposition for this task - for example, a certain hotel or hair-dressing salon or restaurant in a particular place.
