Learning to write following APA Form and Style takes practice and attention to details. Review the two tutorials in this week's Books and Resources and Pringle, M. & Gonzales, J. (2009) to refresh your knowledge of the latest version of APA form and style:

Warm-up Activity 2
Avoiding plagiarism, intentional or nonintentional is an essential part of academic integrity. The Student has the responsibility to read, understand, and apply the Northcentral University Academic Integrity Policy. You can find the policy in this week's Books & Resources. Be sure to adhere to its principles when preparing your work. If you have any questions about applying these principles do not hesitate to ask your instructor.
Task
Prepare a paper introducing your problem and clearly stating the importance of the issue for the population you have selected. This paper will culminate the research you have conducted so far, combining information gleaned in Weeks 1 and 2, with at least five additional references from peer-reviewed journals published in the past 5 years. Any feedback given by your faculty on the first two assignments will be reflected here. The resulting product will be a standalone paper, which introduces your problem, and states the importance of your problem in general, particularly as it relates to the population you selected.
Length: 5-7 pages, not including title and reference pages.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
