News/Opinion Article Letters

Instructions
For this assignment you are asked to locate a news or opinion article about an issue, person or event that you feel strongly about. For example, it can be an issue that you really believe in, an event that interests or concerns you, or a person whose work you admire. The news/opinion article must be between 300 and 1,000 words.
Based on the article, you will prepare two letters as follows:
1. Prepare a one-page letter to a client at work that explains why you feel strongly about this issue/ person/ event and why it should matter to them as well. This letter should be in "Block" format.
2. Prepare a 1 ½ - 2 page letter to another student (a fellow student) that explains why you feel strongly about this issue/ person/ event and why it should matter to him or her as well. Use the two-page "modified block" format.
